Instructors are recognized members in good standing with the National Dog Groomers Association of America (NDGAA), International Professional Groomers Inc (IPG), International Society of Canine Cosmetologists (ISCC) and Professional Pet Groomers Certificaton Inc (PPGC).

Dog Care conducts professional and amateur pet grooming courses by Certified Master Groomers (IPG), Singapore's first National Certified Master Groomer (NDG-AA S/no. SNG01, 1985) and Intergroom Medal Winner.

For the past 25 years, Dog Care Singapore has operated salons at reputable animal hospitals, which are owned and managed by prominent veterinary surgeons.  These hospitals include The Mount Pleasant Animal Hospital, The Animal Clinic and The Veterinary Surgery.  Dog Care does not carry out any other trade or service except Groomer Training and Grooming.

Dog Care was established in 1983. It is owned by Angeli Siow and Siow Kim Soon who are certified US, UK and Canadian all-breed canine and feline groomers.
